Strengthening Dignity, Professionalism & Workplace Excellence in Domestic Work
In 2022, ETCIO launched a pioneering domestic workforce development initiative in Abuja, training two cohorts of domestic workers over a 12-week period. Participants developed essential workplace and life skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and personal presentation. The program received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both employers and workers, who reported improved relationships, increased confidence, enhanced service delivery, and greater workplace efficiency.
