ETCIO is an education and workforce-development organization strengthening the transition from classroom to career and learning to earning.
We develop social, professional and life skills, strengthen self-discovery and leadership, expand access to practical learning opportunities and work with educational institutions and employers to improve the environments in which people learn and work.

Our Story
ETCIO began with a simple goal: to bridge the gap between what people learn in the classroom and the skills they need to navigate life beyond it. Our early work focused on social skills, values, character, confidence and etiquette—skills often expected, but not always intentionally taught.
Over the years, we realized that preparing people was only one part of the picture. They also needed access to real-world experiences, the right connections and clearer pathways into opportunity. And the schools, organizations and workplaces they move into also have a role to play.
Today, ETCIO works across that journey—developing people, strengthening pathways to opportunity and supporting the environments where people learn and work. We intentionally extend these opportunities to people and communities who may otherwise have limited access to them.
